Investment Readiness Toolkit/Farming Toolkit

The Green Finance Institute has developed two toolkits:

(1) an Investment Readiness Project Toolkit, a new online platform to guide nature project developers – including farmers, estate owners, charities, local authorities and project aggregators to investment readiness. It sets out eight critical milestones each with sets of considerations and case studies to help bridge the gap between project developers and investors or lenders, mobilising private finance into the restoration of nature and nature-based solutions.

(2) A version of this toolkit specifically to equip UK farming communities with an understanding of nature markets, such as Carbon Credits, Biodiversity Net Gain and Nutrient Neutrality, and support them with their eligibility for NEIRF funding. With this information, farmers will be able to assess if nature markets are right for them.
